RECORDINGS

Anatoli Krastev has premiered over 100 new works (many of which are dedicated to him), has recorded over 25 albums and CDs in Bulgarian and foreign recording studios from the USA, to the Netherlands and Germany, and has broadcast for numerous radio and TV stations in Bulgaria, France, Belgium, Russia, Hungary, Greece, Brazil, Vietnam.

His CD recording of the concertos by Saint-Saens and Schumann paired with the “Variations on a Rococo Theme” by Tchaikovsky was nominated by the Paris magazine “Repertoire” with the highest ratings and was praised with superlatives such as “his art has always excited both audience and the critics alike and this common view places the violoncellist alongside such names as Janos Starker and Andre Navarra”.

Indeed a recent CD release by the Canadian label, St.Clair: Classics Collection “Forever Gold” features Anatoli Krastev as soloist in Dvorak’s Cello Concerto alongside Andre Navarra’s recording of the Elgar Concerto.
